Experienced Professionals

Developing the standard of tomorrow's navy.

As an employer, we offer excellent development opportunities in a high-tech and exciting international environment. Equipping tomorrow’s navies motivates us every day. With the further enhancement of our autonomous underwater vehicles, we are now turning to another chapter of innovation. Digital technologies such as virtual and augmented reality support us on our way to becoming a digital shipyard. Our journey is far from being over.

Experienced professionals for surface vessels, submarine construction and other fields of expertise in naval technology will find themselves in strong teams, will experience communication and teamwork on eye level. We, at thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, are not about hierarchies, but about technological expertise & innovation.

As a team, we value a transparent feedback culture at eye level.

Not only a man’s world: Engineering at the highest level

There is no reason as to why engineering has to be a male-dominated profession. At thyssenkrupp Marine Systems we welcome women and strive for diversity within our teams. But the scale has not yet tipped enough to be even when it comes to gender diversity in technical professions. What we can do as an employer is to set an environment free from discrimination and based on skill – paving the way for women in high-tech engineering roles.

In my opinion, acceptance and assertiveness have nothing to do with gender. Given the high complexity of our products, there is little room for the ego – whether male or female. What counts is professional skill and know-how.
